I want agency over our technology. Convinced the way to get there is to build a super user agent that unlocks a composable web.

Let’s make it happen… https://userandagents.com

Feels like we are onto something over at userandagents.com so many of the right people are joining and taking active part in the community.

The goal for me is simple.

User agency over our technology.

That starts by building foundations and sharing explorations. It grows organically from there.
User & Agents
A community space focused on shaping the future of user-agent systems.

My wish for 2026 is lasting peace on the Thai-Cambodian border and a reopening of all border crossings and trade. Time to end the fighting and get the economy sailing again.

Thailand releases 18 Cambodian soldiers held since July
The release is part of a new ceasefire deal after weeks of deadly clashes along the Thai-Cambodia border.

If your bio says you are a shaman / life coach in my experience it’s a red flag and you are more than likely a grifter with an over inflated ego. Namaste 🙏

Bank anti fraud blocking my card despite having to go though OTP code hoopla every time I made a purchase. Zero notification or calls to tell me. Banking is broken

New Year’s resolution is to quit using the phone so much when I’m at home. Plenty of other computing devices and interface modalities that can be used. Will be a challenge but feels like the space created will be filled with more worthwhile things.

Past 24 hours have even eventful. Held a Xmas party, visited ER to remove bit of wood from kids foot, dealt with an uninvited python, and had to perform the Heimlich manner on one of the dogs.

Xmas bbq lunch with our Burmese crew and then spent the afternoon doing cooking enough lasagne to feed an army tomorrow.

Turns out spoke nipples are essential and we don’t have them or lost them somewhere. I never even knew bikes had nipples

There are 300K+ views on Youtube of my talk! I've never had a talk get this amount of traction.

It's confusing as I've been speaking/writing about this for years. Somehow the stars aligned this time.

Upside is that I've had lots of interesting conversations with folks because of this.
My Ubuntu Summit talk is up! Where I talk about:
1. How Desktop UX is effectively dead
2. Why I hate the term UX/UI with the heat of 1000 suns
3. How OSS can actually innovate in #ux

Never trust an LLM for anything that really matters. Cross reference with multiple non ai based sources before you end up in the shit.

At this point I do wonder if “You’re absolutely right” is just a text pattern for anthropic engineers to detect what % of the time Claude is fucking up.

Claude is trying to kill me…

“You’re absolutely right - I messed that up too. Let me correct: 12HVPWR…”

Oh lord infiniband switches are LOUD!

This is to be expected with data center kit but unfortunate as every other part of this system is whisper quiet.

Gonna have to explore some mods or maybe just downgrade to 10 gig network until I find a solution.

Bangkok cat is surprised to see me here. Keeps coming to window and just looking at me. Shy but super cute tuxedo look. Prefers fried rice over steak.

Waiting for one more box of parts (out for delivery) and I can finish the hardware part of this #folknet epyc cluster build inspired by cloudflare and oxide.computer

Has been quite the logistics puzzle sourcing all the parts, sorting redundent connectivity, and figuring out remote management
