I like this idea. Ask me a question. I'll answer and ask one back.
(Taking a page out of @mtrkdjoyce.bsky.social’s book)

I’d like to build deeper relationships with my followers. So ask me a question, I will answer, and ask you a question.

I really hope I am not supposed to be running the meeting in 2 minutes. I'm just back from PTO and am still remembering how to do my job, much less teach it to others.

Waiting for my ride home from the airport. The airport employee who enforces the No Parking No Standing No Waiting signs in the Arrivals area seems to REALLY enjoy his work.

I just witnessed the best "reason my toddler had a tantrum": ~2yo was toddling out some energy in the airport & had a full floor-flopping fit when parent didn't let them toddle off with the stranger who stopped to make sure the kiddo had a nearby adult (parent was watching from maybe 8 feet away).

Whoever's idea this was (both as a product, and installing them at @denverairport.bsky.social ), they need a raise.

I toasted the perfect 5-layer marshmallow the way mom taught me, and I can think of no better way to end the day that started with yeeting granulated mom off a cliff.

I am ensconced in a blanket fort with the ocean outside.

Bless his heart, my dad is trying.

My tail mascot on the flight into Denver was Hugh the Manatee and 10/10 no notes. Keep the whimsey, Frontier.

Having survived the first leg of my westward journey, I have made camp in a quiet corner of the Denver airport. Next flight leaves in 12 hours.

Got my sticker, and a nice walk to and from my polling place at the elementary school 3 blocks away.

I leave Friday to spend 32 hours in the Denver airport and also 5 days with my dad, which will mark the longest I have ever in my life spent with just my dad. And the longest my clingy Lockdown Cat has spent without me since he moved in.

Welcome to Christmas Light Optimization Time (CLOT). I refuse to call it "Standard" time when we're using it for barely over a third of the year.

Another successful Trick or Treat in the bag! Candy held out without too much extra, a couple first timers, kids and grownups all had fun.

Why is the most robustly engineered part of this Halloween animatronic the part that I need to disassemble to fix the part that broke?

I am watching a neighbor's dog, a pittie who has (with some generous rounding) zero chill. Same with obedience training. When I go over to feed him and he busts out the Intruder Alert, I've taken to telling him "You know me. Use your inside bark." To my shock, he actually barks quieter.

I am at 48% of the audiobook of Dracula and just realized the epistolary novel is the literary equivalent of found footage movies.
Weirdly, the epistolary novel is one of my favorite literary forms, and found footage is my least favorite cinematic form.

Attempting to finish outdoor Halloween decorations on this, my last day off before the big day. City has also decided this is an excellent day to resurface the street in front of my house. The de-asphalter spewing diesel fumes at 2mph 12 feet from my porch is not helping.

I do crochet and embroidery mostly for the act of doing them (stabbing 10,000 times is very calming), but then I am done and I have Made A Thing, and have no idea what to do with it. Creative folks: how do you manage your Random Finished Projects? #askingforafriend

Work knows my feelings on AI. Still, dayjob boss was not amused by the phrasing of my question: "In the training for the new AI system yesterday, they said we could get our access revoked for swearing at it. How many F💣 do I have to drop to get banned?"

Ready for another work meeting that will be recorded and emailed to me upon its conclusion.

Deep breath...texted my sister (who lives 2500 miles away) an FYI that I'll be in town in a couple weeks. I don't expect she'll want to see me, based on the last message I got from her, but in the unlikely event of a reconciliation, I don't want her to find out I'd been in town and not told her.

PSA: this is a consumer dispute, not credit card fraud. The human handled it properly by requesting a reversal of the purchases from the merchant. Had they claimed credit card fraud with the bank, it would likely fall under Permissive Use.

Buck naked = all the way naked
Butt naked = wearing chaps
Not to be THAT dictionary, but…

It’s ‘per se,’ not ‘per say.’
It’s ‘dog-eat-dog world,’ not ‘doggy-dog world.’
It’s ‘hunger pangs,’ not ‘hunger pains.’
It’s ‘one and the same,’ not ‘one in the same.’
It's 'buck naked,' not 'butt naked.'
