Farage called for it and no-one in ReformUK dare question Farage.

It's totally disingenuous of the media to claim postponing local council elections is a Labour Government policy. It isn't, the policy is exactly the same as the last Tory government policy, allowing councils to request postponement if certain criteria is met. Who needs facts eh.

In a landmark step for environmental protection - Scotland has become the first country in the United Kingdom to place swift bricks into law. If Scotland can do it so can we!
In opposition the Labour party strongly supported mandating swift bricks in new homes. Last November,in a move which shocked conservationists - the Labour government used a three-line whip to vote down a House of Lords amendment to make the bricks mandatory for new buildings

I too will now have to vote in May and again next year. Labour is the only sensible vote. Please go out and vote.
I now have a vote two sets of elections in May.

I will be voting Labour in both and urge everyone to commit now to voting Labour in May.

It will be a low turn out and every vote matters.

It is the least you can do to stop Reform. It's our national duty to make a stand against hate.

Tories did the same in 2021
It will cost LA’s £65m
Elections were only postponed til 2027 to allow mergers to save money.
Councils will have to pay for elections next yr.
All outlined here👇#BBC

This once-in-a-generation reform will end the outdated two-tier system and build stronger local councils.

⬆️ Universal Credit & benefits uprated
⬆️ Expanded childcare support

To reiterate this point: during the Q&A Farage dismissed very arrogantly a perfectly fair question from the brilliant Anna Gross of the FT and then took the piss out of the paper. If you want to persuade people that you don’t have predilections towards bullying it was not ideal. It was grim.
One element of recent Reform press conferences seems to me to be Nigel Farage believing his own hype, as it were, being particularly bullish and, at times, glib with critical questions. This could be risky for him as it's not always 100% appealing.

+ Labour have not made any cuts to PIP eligibility and, as of now NONE are planned.

+ Labour also was NEVER looking at cutting the rates of PIP someone can get. In fact, rates are actually increasing with inflation.
