Daniel Allen and I are organising an @rgsibg.bsky.social conference (hybrid) session on legal animal geographies.

We invite papers that not only highlight current multispecies injustice, but seek to challenge, resist, and contest these systems to create more just multispecies worlds and futures.

We would love for @jaytoddgla.bsky.social’s and my critical response to be read widely, given the Sullivan Review’s potential for far-reaching implications across the social and health sciences — and indeed well beyond the academy

The University of Sheffield has stopped paying staff.

Not for striking but for refusing to work unpaid to make up for strike days they were already docked for.

This is punishment, not negotiation. And it’s completely reckless.

I have designed a 20min questionnaire looking to explore how you all teach animal geographies.

The survey aims to understand your pedagogical practices, course design, and how you translate all that animal geographies research out there to your students.
