really dislike the "kn95 or better" language around masks. "better" how? if you aren't working around particulate matter and toxic fumes there aren't many situations where a p100 respirator is better than a light piece of fabric with like 98% as effective filtration

worldbuilding and lore are valid forms of storytelling with deep-rooted traditions. ironically i think people who dismiss them don't read enough "literary" fiction; otherwise they'd appreciate encountering a different approach to a story's scope, scale and perspective
