Pokémaniac. Growing leftist. Lover of games, stories, and drawings. Many different flavors of queer (they/them).
To be clear, more of them were in on it. At minimum, Schumer was. I say primary every moderate we can.
But I doubt of Sanders, Warren, Markey, etc. agreed to this. It’s hard to say exactly who did.
These are the ones we know for sure betrayed us. These are the ones who should feel the most heat.

Durbin. Rosen. Fetterman. Masto. Shaheen. Hassan. Kaine. King.
None of them are up for reelection next year. A couple are retiring. They all think they’re just going to get away with it with no pushback.
But they all have phones.

Did you know Dick Durbin invented being concerned about healthcare costs?

Zohran is something of a Bugs Bunny figure, a competent cool guy in a world full of aggressive idiots who he’s all too prepared to foil
The thing about Mamdani is that he’s so normal and so many people are so weird about him. And it becomes really hard to miss the fact it’s mostly because he’s Muslim

I know there were a lot of things to celebrate yesterday, but let’s not let Mayor-Elect Erica Deuso get lost in the fray
Erica Deuso is the FIRST out transgender mayor in the state of Pennsylvania.
Voters nationwide are rejecting hate and voting for equality champions — and Downingtown, PA is no different.
CONGRATULATIONS, Mayor-Elect @ericadeuso.bsky.social!

Can’t overstate how much lighter I feel when Erin Reed says something is good news
Today is an absolute rebuke of anti-transgender politics, and a real sign that the anti-trans panic is fading.
From VA Gov to Loudoun County to New Jersey to New York City and Pennsylvania, anti-trans Republicans are falling left and right.

Democrats are currently ahead in 63 (!!!) races in the Virginia House of Delegates.
If this holds, it would be one of the largest state legislature swings in the last 4 years.
Its an absolute bloodbath for anti-trans Republicans.

Two Democrats ran for Mayor of NYC.
One sacrificed every principle he ever had to pander to Republicans and the 1% so he could raise an absurd amount of money.
The other stood by the people and put all that money to waste.
Congratulations, Mayor-Elect Mamdani, and good morning, America. ☀️🇺🇸

“Affordability is the winning election message in every district, blue, purple, or red. That may not be what the corporate donors funding these centrist think tanks want to hear, but it's true. The rent is too damn high, no matter if you're Black, white, trans, or a migrant.”

i made this point without naming Spanberger in a recent newsletter but because I put Mamdani on the cover and no one ever reads anymore, a bunch of centrists on here screamed at me www.burnsnotice.com/fire-the-con...

Really hope more people will start to see that “Democrats deeply worried about repercussions of a victory” is unironically the driving force behind the party machine
The framing of this is hilarious: Democrats deeply worried about the repercussions of a victory

As Mamdani nears victory, Democrats worry about national fallout
The progressive candidate is on the cusp of a historic mayoral win. And that's adding to unease among Democrats looking for a way back to national power.

They’re honestly about the same in overall quality, but the sequel FEELS way worse because:
1) It’s 38 minutes longer and reeeeeally doesn’t need to be
2) The second attempt at a premise this ludicrous is never as novel, and
3) It’s somehow even more shameless in its marketing ambitions

you know, the original SPACE JAM was not some kind of masterpiece — it wasn’t even particularly good — but it feels like SEVEN SAMURAI compared to the sequel (watching it with my kids right now)
