My husband and I got into a fight about calls for people to resign from the Trump administration.

I said they should, he said they shouldn't.

Both our lives were blown up by what happened to me.

And we've come out of it with radically different views of whether or not it's "worth it."

Hot take 🔥 - it’s a BAD IDEA to shut down one of only federal facilities charged with studying Ebola. DUH. Maybe understanding high consequence infectious diseases is a good thing?

Hold Trump and RFKJ accountable for their nonsense. They’re putting us all in danger.

There is NO "aborted fetal debris" in vaccines.

They're resurrecting one of the most innacurate and outdated lies to trigger people not only into not trusting vaccines, but to make them angry at those who produce them.

The cells used to produce a select number of vaccines are grown in a lab.

Drag is constitutionally-protected expression.

We’ll see the City of Naples in court.
BREAKING: @naplespride.bsky.social has filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Naples and its entities for denying the non-profit organization a special events permit to host a family-friendly drag performance in one of the city’s public parks as part of its annual Pridefest celebration.

No clue if I’ll have a conventional career in science. But I do know I will dedicate my life to understanding the brain & developing mathematical models to do so. And I will make sure generations after me know how important this topic is. Acclaim & titles can arrive or not, but I will be doing this.
Yes. Journalists should note this:
Every science or tech student, age 5-35 today, is looking at the destruction of their career prospects due to Trump and Musk.

We should be interviewing those students and talking about the impact to their lives.
Every one of my friends is asking “do I even have a career going forward”

We need to collect the data on all the people DOGE is targeting. It's not random.

Look at the gender, race, political affiliations/donations, and even their social media.

They'll sprinkle in some generic white men for cover, but I'm willing to bet they're targeting women, minorities & liberals
