America needs to adjust safety standards to align with Europe so that we can have rolling stock with doors on the outside. That means big windows and big doorways.

Barcelona's TRAM service has extended to Verdaguer, connecting Glòries Square to Verdaguer in the Eixample district. This 2km extension, part of a larger project to unite the city's tram networks, adds three new stations and is expected to serve 24,000 daily passengers, reducing car traffic.
