If you’re in the Baltimore area, and need to cut food costs, there’s a program run by Catholic Charities called Share Food. It’s basically a bulk buying & volunteer packing community that gets you a 50% discount on groceries. I used the Denver version for years, and never saw any proselytizing.

When the hospitals left us neglected, the Young Lords took it over & demanded change.

Let me get this straight … they want women to be a trad wife/a stay at home mom, buy a home with a yard but only will pay $7.25 an hour to the one working spouse be able to do all that.

Also while we’re talking about it, federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour.
I don’t care what state you live in. There’s no way to raise a family anywhere in this country on $7.25.
You want to degrade people on SNAP but the govt doesn’t mandate that jobs pay them enough to not need it!
