Our initial analysis is up.
The video footage appears to show that the gun was taken away from the man before he was shot.

The current era of my world - Metera - is the 5th. It was marked by the end on the Dark Ages. It is an era of great expeditions, exploration, adventures, and technological and industrial progress. It mixes medieval fantasy with the age of sail and gunpowder.
