Some perspective: The S&P opened down -1.3% on Trump's Greenland saber-rattling. That's $750 billion of wealth destroyed -- roughly equal to estimates of the value of Greenland.

Probably just a minor point worth noting, but as Trump threatens new tariffs on wine imports it just so happens that he is also in the wine business so the tariffs would benefit him personally.

One of my all time classic favorite stories is "Keep the Aspidistra Flying" George Orwell. I read that when I was 10. Even at 10 the idea that things change and you cant go back, was enormous.
