Niche chat and all anecdotal, but I grew up in Cumbria around the time of the fox hunting ban and it was quite a fierce divide/debate at times. Yesterday the police arrested some illegal fox hunters and the comments on Facebook are entirely aggressively against the "hunters".

So much of this article spoke to me. We do Junior Parkrun. We always finish near the end, but my 4yo never cares. She doesn't care about PBs. I've learned so much about parenting her, and running more generally.

I never appreciated what glorious chaos primary kids' swimming classes are. Just loads of kids splashing in a pool while their parents take turns to shout "listen to the teacher" as some poor 20-something tries to put some structure on it.
