ICE has been the greatest motivator I've had to workout since the Army. I've done yoga for 20 years to maintain mobility through chronic health issues. But I've returned to boxing training, jumping rope, footwork, form. If I punch a Nazi, I want it to hurt.

At some point in the future, I am eager for an international court to conduct a full investigation and trial of this era of corruption. Take it out of partisan hands and ask the international community for assistance. Jail time for many people, don't care what party.

My MIL is doing the saintly duty of hosting and kindly put together some delightful Italian food for the occasion. Merluzzo, chicken picatta, bruschetta...I got put on risotto duty and I think I did my family proud.

Bad timing meant that I traveled two weeks in a row, which my system punished me for. So I'm finally back in the gym after weeks of recovery. Of course, we travel next week so...but every effort is worth it.

The Revival Choir AI version of The Thong Song is sending me. First, I love that it's clearly identified and labeled as AI. Second, I forgot I knew every word because the lyrical error irks me. And finally, gospel music is one of my favorites and I'm happy the lyrics more closely match my beliefs.

Predictably, a week of holiday travel followed by a week of work travel resulted in a lot of laundry, very angry and needy cats, and a full on flare. The cats are happy that I'm unable to move, leaving them ample cuddle time. I did manage to take a shower, finally, so that's a win.

One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is that we spend the week with my aunt in Oklahoma. My wife loves running around the lake here and I spent the time knitting 🧶. The weather is cool to cold, sunny to rainy, but I always enjoy the change from the desert and it calms to knitting.
