Im signed up to the ESB "is this a good time", where they text ya when there's an 'energy flex/peak event'. Basically just hold off on the washing machine, or dishwasher until it's over. Usually it's between 5pm and 7pm.

In my FOI, Dept officials stated-Moving data centres to regions would “very likely create a constrained region wherever they seek to connect”, impacting the ability to connect housing, enterprise or projects focused on electrification of heat and transport.

This is very shocking to see and must be distressing for those who live or work nearby. Our cities need more trees, not more ads. Let's hope the Gardai can quickly identify the culprit.
