I'm done with Twitter/X. I've scrolled into seeing too many images of uncensored/unblurred dead bodies to keep using it. Everyone just posts anger at current political and world events. I know the world sucks right now, but I don't need to see every gruesome detail.

I'm glad that my anxious/depressive thoughts are slowly being disproven with some events in 2025. Sometimes it's hard to think with positivity when surrounded by uncertainty and doubt.

"the only good test score is perfect" is a strange standard that a lot of people try to apply to themselves and others. Understanding and curiosity aren't strictly correlated with test scores above a certain threshold.

I just want everyone to know that Mamdani did way better on his SATs than I did and my job is basically “professional smart guy on the internet.”
Maybe my expectations are unreasonably high for humans, but I find it very difficult to imagine thinking this, let alone thinking to publish it. The “savor” speaks volumes.
