I just did a Sam Raimi double feature of DARKMAN and THE QUICK & THE DEAD. It's been a long time since I've watched both.
DARKMAN was fun & all, but holy fucking moly is THE QUICK & THE DEAD a banger! The cast, the action, the cinematography. Fucking stellar!
For my money, it's perfect.

I just did a Sam Raimi double feature of DARKMAN and THE QUICK & THE DEAD. It's been a long time since I've watched both.

It's been forever. Still fun.
Although it's cool that Bruce Campbell has a cameo, it bums me out to learn that Sam Raimi wanted Bruce as the lead but the studio felt he wasn't famous enough.
