My first post-Christmas movie watch. Ever since hearing the Misfits song I’ve wanted to check this out. Pretty cool 50s sci-fi monster flick that actually keeps your attention with a fair amount of mystery and investigation.

Watched this for the first time last night and it was WAY MORE edgy than I expected. The street kid they take into their home hooks up Fred with illegal cable to view the prehistoric version of The Playboy Channel, a joke which comes back several times! 😄

Santa Claus The Movie is a film I never watched as a kid, but it was a Christmas tradition for my wife (we even have her childhood VHS copy) and now I know it all too well. Lithgow as evil corporate toy maker B.Z. is the highlight every viewing. “For FREEEEE?!” 😄
