The main issue in America now is freedom of speech - not in the “cancel culture” way that our political class has whined about for years, but in the fundamental “can the government tell you what to believe and punish you for disagreeing with it way” that the Constitution actually controls.

There is one hard and fast rule when it comes to copyright infringement. You don't fuck with mice. Mickey and Pikachu are off limits. Were they pissed that Disney pushed back on the Kimmel thing so they decided to poke the 'Chu instead? Did they think famously litigious Nintendo WON'T sue them?

We don’t have a full picture. But many people on here have been very eager to declare him a groyper based on second-hand counterintuitive deep readings of the memes he used, while ignoring who he killed, the most obvious surface-level reading of his language, and a reported anti-Trump statement.
What IS the most straightforward interpretation? I don't see the facts that have been made public adding up to anything other than "we don't have the full picture of his motivation yet."
