Wanna put this out here, I love how much space @venustheory.bsky.social is giving the indie game developers to tell their own stories. A brilliant essay / documentary / video in my opinion.

Anyone got experience in whether learning the Godot engine over unity is worth while?

Been using unity a lot up to 4 years ago, but have missed a bunch of their changes and feel like starting over with another tool wouldn’t hurt

Man I love analog synths .. like .. yes it's super manual - sound design takes ages and the sounds coming out are so simple but there's just SO MUCH TO PLAY WITH . Also there's so much warmth to it !

personal update: today is my last day with the Bluesky team!

this is bittersweet news to share, but the great thing about an open network is you never really have to leave. I’ll be rooting for Bluesky and atproto from the outside 🫡💙

So happy to finally introduce a super cool tool I made for @sprk.so:
Airport ✈️
It makes AT Protocol migrations between PDS servers available to anyone with a simple web interface.

Check it out at atpairport.com
Star it on Github at github.com/knotbin/airport

In SpiritOfTheNorth2, the music reacts to:
🧡 Player sympathy
🌀 Tribal presence
🌲 Biome mood (mystery, awe, tension)
🌄 Vistas and more!

Each one changes orchestration or swaps musical segments making the score feel alive.

Met this amazing artist (sadly not on bluesky) at the Berlin Music Dance Event the other week - She writes some super atmospheric music and her new track just dropped

mildly interesting: Blacksky's rksy-relay delivers events in a smoother, more continuous stream than Bluesky's implementation.

I’ve written quite a bit about audio interfaces and how it’s basically a waste of money to buy a cheap one if you already had a cheap one before. But I do need to add a little disclaimer, if you can’t make a good track on a cheap interface, you won’t be able to make one on an expensive one either.
