This piece is almost done, but I haven't put makeup on after being a total research gremlin all day, and I have my usual livestream in a little over an hour.

That means I can't pump out this video today -- but trust me, it'll be worth it tomorrow!

This is gonna be a big one :)

Here you go.

Canada’s government brought Roshel’s CEO on a trade mission SIX DAYS after Renee Good was murdered by ICE (and a little over a month after it came out that Roshel is contracted to sell ICE $10 million worth of armoured vehicles)
A Canadian-made armoured vehicle was spotted on Minneapolis streets the day ICE murdered Alex Pretti.

The company that sold ICE that monster as part of a $10 million deal? Roshel.

What’s more:

Bovino’s retirement needs to be a cage. His command environment yielded Renee Good’s death, Alex Pretti’s death & Julio Sosa-Celis’ shooting. Failure to prosecute Bovino & everyone else materially responsible for these atrocities will be understood by ICE, CBP, etc as a green light for the next ones

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

I wonder how many food orders will be carried out by gig workers on bikes today? Because people without physical disabilities need their burrito bowls and double cheeseburgers brought to their front doors in 10mins or less don't you know.

Putin pioneered this. No opposition is legitimate. Regular, decent, “ordinary” people cannot possibly be against us because only we represent “the real people.”

Tell-tale sign of authoritarianism.

Absolutely reprehensible for CPP to be investing in this.

In 2019, I was part of a campaign to pressure CPP to divest from American for-profit prison company GEO group due to their abuses with ICE. We won. It's time to put that pressure on again. We must not be complicit with fascism.
A grim day to note that Canada Pension Plan Investments has ~$264M in PALANTIR, which is enabling muderous ICE + its horrific terror campaign. Pensions will be useless if brownshirt billionaires kill democracy!!! (see👆post re BCI)

Drop the names of any Canadian companies you’ve seen working with ICE in the comments.

I’m aware of Gardaworld, Roshel, Hootsuite.

Would love to gather any and all other names.

Only do this in teams of 3.

One person covers the canister.
One Person pours water on it through the cone.
One person is the lookout to ensure ICE aren't charging at you.

Shit, this angle too, seems the grey jacketed gestapos arm holding the gun jerks back when the first shot goes off. Then the rest of the shots happen once he looks back.
Both angles synced.
