I've been working on a beastmen army for The Old World and I'm trying to make as much of it metal as possible. Progress is slow because getting hold of metal is a challenge but I'll aim to post progress shots as I go. #nerdlings

It's a shame this thing doesn't have a poll function because I'd like to do a definitive ranking of pairs of large guys.
Contestants are:

Bologs and Cachtorr, giants from the Warhammer Dark Shadows campaign (2001)
Urdel and Gurdel, ogres that can be summoned by a chanter in Pillars of Eternity

I just read Steves Jackson on here and now I know the answer to a question I didn't realise I needed to ask.

Because of Fallout, when I hear 50s music I don't think of the 50s, I think of a grey landscape with wrecked houses.

As a largish woman warrior with a fairly square jaw I feel very seen.

I can't stand this "joke". It boils down to "ha ha my partner resents my uncontrolled spending on my hobby and I've committed to being involved in a family and I resent how that's taking time away from my hobby isn't that FUNNY!?"
Speaking of nonmedies, can the warhammer content creators knock it off with the "ermahgahd my wife(specifically WIFE. Not spouse) hates it when I buy warhammer" jokes.

That dead horse has been beaten. It's been beaten so often and so long that it's now just a pile of dust and hair.

Of course the advantage of having an all metal army is you could play Warhammer outside on a day like this.

I don't often say inject this directly into my veins but INJECT THIS DIRECTLY INTO MY VEINS
ANDOR creator Tony Gilroy likes the idea of a Kleya and Vel ‘Nazi hunters’ spin-off series in which the duo hunt after former Imperials following the fall of the Empire with the assistance of Dedra Meero in a Hannibal Lector-esque role.

I think Victoria Police need to answer some questions about how and why a Neo-Nazi mob were allowed to engage in a race riot yesterday.

Episode of Sliders where Rick Priestley swaps around 2 letters in 1987 and we get Warhammer 40,000: Rouge Trader.

hey @theguardian.com this piece is wildly irresponsible! To post an "interview" with an LLM, with zero context given that that it cannot answer questions about itself, and that you've basically just asked it to generate some science fiction dialogue?

I feel like MCDM could be making more of a fuss about how Draw Steel totally avoids the situation from the Tom Cardy D&D bit because you never miss.

Nice solution to feeling like you just poured out a bottle of water every time you forget to include -ai in a search.

If someone calls you"Fitzroy coded" would you consider that a compliment or an insult?

Being a journalist seems great, you can just make shit up and then get paid to write a think piece about it.

Oh you're a couple? Which one of you shows off your collection of odd little things and which one of you stands behind them making sure people say something nice?

I think I've been clear about my position that if you want to run an RPG in a setting that already has an RPG written for it you should use that RPG rather than a more popular system that wasn't designed with the setting in mind. Below is what can go wrong if you, say, use D&D to run Warhammer.

Love a Sunday afternoon in Guling when you can feel the warmth starting to seep back into your bones and you can listen to the blues on PBS.
