Future additions include this pile of bestigor, a metal dragon ogre from 1987, and the beginning of my attempt at getting gors which the army can't be fielded without.

Here's the second part of the post, with the forest dogs. I'm using The Thing in the Woods from Mordheim as a Razorgor because the official miniature looks like Pumba. Herdstone is unfortunately plastic. #nerdlings

I've been working on a beastmen army for The Old World and I'm trying to make as much of it metal as possible. Progress is slow because getting hold of metal is a challenge but I'll aim to post progress shots as I go. #nerdlings

I think I've been clear about my position that if you want to run an RPG in a setting that already has an RPG written for it you should use that RPG rather than a more popular system that wasn't designed with the setting in mind. Below is what can go wrong if you, say, use D&D to run Warhammer.

Book Eomer and Aragorn have a lot more to do with each other than movie Eomer and Aragorn, they're always champing at the bit to fight side by side, but every time they say something like "now is the hour we draw swords together" I get this picture in my head.
