So, if you're in a situation where your partner thinks the thing that brings you joy is stupid and a waste of time, that's an unhealthy relationship. But also I suspect most straight Warhammer guys think it's just the natural order of things because they understand Warhammer to be a men's hobby.

But also I was with a partner who initially thought my hobby was pretty cool but later started trying to shame me for it. It sucked and it's part of the reason I stopped doing it for like 5 years.

I meet people who are in this situation sometimes and it's not funny, it's really sad.

I guess ultimately the "joke" is decades of neoliberalism have made the traditional life goals inaccessible to most millennials and some of them are relying on games to give their life meaning and that's creating tension with their partners.
