My standard I've Just Gotten a Burst of Followers from Somewhere message: I don't automatically follow people back, but basically anyone I have a positive interaction with *does* get followed, so just reply to something somewhere if you want me to follow you back. :-)

I genuinely thought there had canonically been multiple 007s. Were those all supposed to be the same guy?
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Wait, I don't understand. This sounds like good news.

if you genuinely think Schumer and Democratic leadership opposed this & Republicans coincidentally got exactly the number of votes they needed to avoid a filibuster and none of those votes are from Democratic Senators who are up for reelection in the midterms next year, I have a bridge to sell you.

Durbin is a fucking useless idiot. Even if they hold the vote— which they won’t— and it passes— which it isn’t going to— there’s absolutely nothing compelling the House to act, **and they won’t.**
Dumbfuckery of the highest caliber.

Whoa -- Sen. Durbin went to up Leader Thune during the vote last night to tell him that on the shutdown vote and ACA promise that "8 of us are sticking our neck out that you're going to keep your word. I hope you will. He said 'I assure you I will,'" Durbin says just now

Dick Durbin suffers from a terminal case of Senate Brain, in which the big prize is a handshake deal with your distinguished colleagues where they'll allow you to hold a meaningless vote that you can then point to with pride to your constituents as they go broke from crushing medical bills.
Durbin said critics of his vote “need to understand how the Senate works”
