One of the hardest things about having a business was having employees. People don't talk about that enough.
I don't think I ever want to have employees again. It's so heartbreaking. I think every disciplinary act was worse for me than it was for the employee.

I applied for a part time pet trainer position at PetCo and I realize a minimum wage, out-of-career-path job is probably not big-picture strategic, but I’m tired of not meeting all the dogs and forging relationships with them around how good they are.
