What the hell is happening in Atlanta right now?
We’re hearing reports that ICE has set up checkpoints across Metro Atlanta and is detaining people.

No one should have to live in fear just driving down the street. No one should be targeted because of what they look like.

According to ICE’s own data, the daily per-person cost of the Intensive Supervised Appearance Program is 97% lower than the cost of detention. Holding people like Rodney Scott in its squalid facilities is just another act of performative cruelty, meant to pressure people into ‘voluntary’ departure.

Members of Congress were turned away at an ICE detention center in Brooklyn today while exercising their right to conduct oversight of the facility.

ICE has no power to turn them away without reason.

According to this Supreme Court, President Biden's Department of Education was exceeding its power by trying to forgive peoples' student loans.

President Trump, on the other hand, has the power to just completely dismantle the entire Education Department.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court allows the Trump administration to move forward with the abolition of the Department of Education. It gives no explanation for its order. All three liberals dissent. www.documentcloud.org/documents/25...

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

President Trump's budget bill will strip away health care coverage from 120,000 people in Georgia, all while giving ICE agents raises to inflict further harm.

Communities across our country ought to be cared for, not torn apart.
Opinion: Georgians should not lose health care to ICE bonuses
The One Big Beautiful Bill act would increase immigration enforcement funding at the expense of the safety net for hungry, sick and vulnerable Georgians.
