The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

SCOOP: The United States Tennis Association (USTA) quietly updated its player eligibility policy to ban trans women from competing as women in their leagues, tournaments and competitions in order to comply with Trump's anti-trans sports executive order. The policy went into effect on Monday.

not that it matters, but this whole ordeal could clearly be put to bed by getting answers, one after the other, to the questions 'is a second strike two hours later standard protocol?' (it isn't) followed by 'why, then, was a second strike ordered here?' and pushing for an answer

genuinely seriously can someone tell me why a student can call a teacher and her entire social group 'demonic' and expect to not be told that's offensive? is it.... not offensive to say that? or are we simply not allowed to care about blatantly rude and intentionally harmful things?

One thing Gwen understands more than most about the Texas and Oklahoma crack down on trans people existing in the university is that this is part of a broader movement by TPUSA and astroturf right wing groups to push society to make having a job while being openly trans impossible again.
