I dislike how the article downplays BG2... the romances in that game were wild, very different from the BioWare formula used later.

It is an Enhanced Edition of the classic IWD.It contains QoL improvements and a graphical overhaul.As I am a fan of the IE games,I can say it is a great dungeon crawler game with a lot of places to visit and battles to win.There are also some mods out there and the modding community is still active.

Surprisingly, there is an official website called Infinity Engine, but it has nothing to do with BioWare's Infinity Engine. It appears to be the website of a miniature model shop.

Some IE games also utilize this. For example, text on paper, either in a book (Enhanced Edition) or on a scroll (Classic). The Classic version places more emphasis on the thematic atmosphere with the background image, while the EE version focuses more on user-friendliness.

Ah yes, the "Lady of Pain." Did you know you can encounter her in the IE game PST(EE)? Although seeing her in the game was exciting, the encounter never ended well for the Nameless One (unless there's an encounter I'm unaware of).

Ah yes, the "Lady of Pain." Did you know you can encounter her in the IE game PST(EE)? Although seeing her in the game was exciting, the encounter never ended well for the Nameless One (unless there's an encounter I'm unaware of).
