A decisão da Câmara de derrubar a medida provisória que corrigia injustiças no sistema tributário não é uma derrota imposta ao governo, mas ao povo brasileiro. Essa medida reduzia distorções ao cobrar a parte justa de quem ganha e lucra mais. Dos mais ricos. Impedir essa correção é votar contra o equilíbrio das contas públicas e contra a justiça tributária. O que está por trás dessa decisão é a aposta de que o país vai arrecadar menos para limitar as políticas públicas e os programas sociais que beneficiam milhões de brasileiros. É jogar contra o Brasil.
