It enrages me that major outlets won't talk about this. this is why the box office down. Sony’s mainstream movie divisions released eight theatrical films in summer 2013. They only put out three films the entire summer 2025. Combine that with Disney wiping out 20th Century Fox, that's why...
Most importantly, studios aren't releasing enough movies right now, as @lisalamanfilmfan.bsky.social and @scottmendelson.bsky.social keep pointing out. Theaters are being starved.
