With bad weather predicted in the near future we did an end run around not having received the greenhouse plastic I ordered by putting up a shadecloth wrap.
I was sad it didn't go all the way up, but now I see the butterflies can still travel in/ out, so maybe it's not totally a bad thing.

This year I'm going to try something different w/ the turkey.

1 gal Arborvitae
2 gal 'Quick Frost' Arizona Cypress
I wanted to try these 2 new evergreens to see how they'll do here. If they do well I may have to plant more as we could use the windbreaks, but I also really like the foliage of the 'Quick Frost'.
Yesterday I up potted:

There have been 2 Monarchs fluttering around/ feeding on a Butterfly Weed here. I have all these other plants* blooming right by them, but they're glued to the blooms of the BW.
