So... I'm understanding that cities with prime development spots where sports teams want to locate hold a lot of leverage here?
With a midnight deadline fast approaching, the Kraft Group and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced a community mitigation agreement tied to a soccer stadium that the Krafts want to build just over the city line in Everett for the New England Revolution. trib.al/mc2Ot7c
Kraft Group reaches deals with Boston and Everett to move forward with Revs soccer stadium - The Boston Globe
The Boston agreement is valued at nearly $48 million, spread over 15 years.

Ever wonder how the Silver Line split came to be? 🚇

It takes a team! 👏

Hear from Kareen, one of the leaders behind the project that made it possible for Silver Line customers to travel to New Carrollton or Downtown Largo.

Back on the beat with a story about a dramatic upzoning for Cambridge. It's now legal to build up to four stories, by right, citywide, with an affordable-bonus up for two more stories.

If federal aid for transit is in massive danger one thing states can do on their own is support efficient, low-capital cost bus service by boosting operating budget subsidies for agencies. Even more vital if/when tariffs add thousands to the cost of car ownership

One more L for historic preservation. A dark, cold and uninviting building that fails in both form and function.
Whether you are among the people who hate it or you're among the people who are wrong, Boston's brutalist City Hall is now a historic landmark. Check this out from @bertoscalese.bsky.social:

We've all heard of sneckdowns, but maybe we need a snappy word for cars a block from the metro that have clearly not been touched in four days, as evidence that parking policy isn't working.
