I got rejected from donating blood today because I am still visibly damaged from falling in a hole on Thursday. I am pissed off. Nurse said I should take some snacks anyway, but snacks are for bleeders and we argued and I was like I WILL FIGHT YOU AND THERE WILL BE BLOOD AND IT WILL BE MINE!

I got rejected from donating blood today because I am still visibly damaged from falling in a hole on Thursday. I am pissed off. Nurse said I should take some snacks anyway, but snacks are for bleeders and we argued and I was like I WILL FIGHT YOU AND THERE WILL BE BLOOD AND IT WILL BE MINE!

I work in a library and every day we have people begging for help, often with government legal requirements, who just don't have the technology or education to access what they need. Not even just elderly!
And as someone who has both, I am NOT going to DL 100s of apps just to see one single thing!

tbh I don't think this is that niche but man we gotta make LIVING accessible for people who don't have smart phones and/or data. I'm talking bus schedules, restaurant menus, doing your laundry, accessing social security and unemployment, all of it. we goddamn GOTTA dude

I just got to deliver the news that a staff member I have been advocating for to get promoted got TWO Promotions! I've been trying to get her promoted for about 3 years now, so we were both celebrating. (That's my mini-me, for those who remember, the one who copies everything I do.) Happy news.
