I’m gonna finally give Sabrina Carpenter a listen this weekend. Unfortunately, I’m one of those people who doesn’t take recs well. Like, I’m not rude or anything, just takes me forever to actually do something about it. Maybe I’ll download a couple albums on YT Music so I can listen at work.

I think what ultimately killed Lights Out for me, was the subplot abt Brad Bluhm and all that (idek, trying not to do spoilers just in case it’s on anyone’s tbr list). Personally, I found the cat and mouse game between Josh and Aly much more compelling.

Finished it. Skimmed the last chapter or so and skipped out on the epilogue. What a let down after the strong first half.

Okay, I’m gonna power through and finish Lights Out tonight because though I do like it, I’m starting to get annoyed with the writing style. Rom-coms are so hard to write, hell humour alone is hard to write. She hits more than she misses but still.
