I wish Fitbit understood the difference between running errands on foot and a deliberate workout. Like you stupid thing, I’m taking it easy. Walking is transportation too, especially on a nice day. (Even though it’s been brought to us by climate change.)

Maybe it’s my age showing, but I much prefer my female rage to feel like wildfire and not smoldering cinders.
Pretty on the Inside still fucks. Is it chaotic and incoherent at times? Absofuckinglutely, but you know, so are many other bands. Idek man, I think the lyrics and Courtney’s raw vocal performance just hits in the solar plexus and doesn’t stop.

I think what ultimately killed Lights Out for me, was the subplot abt Brad Bluhm and all that (idek, trying not to do spoilers just in case it’s on anyone’s tbr list). Personally, I found the cat and mouse game between Josh and Aly much more compelling.

Finished it. Skimmed the last chapter or so and skipped out on the epilogue. What a let down after the strong first half.
