And then 6 months later, didn't even give the bare minimum for a literal insurrection. Country's a fucking joke.
With the summer 2020 protests after George Floyd they really did show us how serious they are about suppressing resistance, I can't deny that. A lot of us including me have in our memories how the cops were flying helicopters over our cities, using militarized technology, kettling protestors.

I saw Juneteenth coming from a mile away, but backtracking MLK Day is insane, even for them.
