Highly self-aware dilettante. A lover of food, cooking, football, and relapsed drum corps nerd hitchhiking my way down the eight fold path.
Haven’t had a really good find thrifting in a while.

Found an Eton button down that fits great in great condition yesterday for $14.99.

That’ll do.

Nervous about this quali. Lewis was really fast in FP3…when he could keep it on the track.

Very feast or famine.

Miso glazed cod, spicy stir fried broccolini, home made chili crisp. Did the fish in the toaster oven since I was only doing one portion and it didn’t get hot enough to really brown the glaze. Still tasty, though.

When one of the dog breeders you were considering but had already eliminated for other reasons posts about “over vaccination” in dogs with a lot of “what vets won’t tell you” stuff.

The unraveling of this dude is going to be one of those “slowly then suddenly” situations.

We’re in the “nothing happened for a few months so people moved back to Mount St Helens” phase of things.

FWIW, while it’s obviously completely unacceptable to have the FCC chair pressuring affiliates to take Kimmel off the air, his comments were inaccurate and inflammatory.

Whatever Tyler Robinson ends up being, he’s not mainline MAGA and it’s not helpful or responsible to make that accusation.

I always find it funny when the discourse gets into “men dress for women” and “women dress for men” and if we were really honest with ourselves about what compliments actually resonate with us, we’d admit that we are all dressing hoping to get approval from the gay men in our lives.

The TikTok algorithm gets so incredibly specific and repetitive that it can give you a wildly distorted perception of what is in the national zeitgeist.

My algo would have you believe that theee is major controversy over Sydney Sweeney’s jeans ad and Ralph Lauren’s Oak Bluffs collection.

Thought experiment:

Would all the money being poured into AI clusters be more or less of an economic/environmental disaster if the companies instead built factories to light equivalent amounts of cash on fire?

Ribs aren’t just for smoking. Oven roasted with tomatoes, onions and peppers that cook down into a jam here. Sautéed corn with Calabrian chili and lemon juice. Arugula salad with vinaigrette and fried almonds and garlic chips.

Look, I’m not saying it wasn’t tasty, but that antipasto salad didn’t look THAT good.

Well, I think Lewis can get George on pace, and the chance of fuckery between Max, Lando, and Oscar seems high so podium is still a good possibility.

Man, Vasseur might not have made it out of the track alive if they had cocked up the strategy so badly to get Lewis knocked out in Q1.

Raiding the fridge for breakfast. Leftover corn risotto, Italian sausage, blistered cherry tomatoes. Garnished with parm, basil and a drizzle of olive oil.

Ferrari should have pretended to consider Lewis’s request not to stop, but they were 100% right

There was no benefit to the team to be had.

The big marketing push on AI is starting to feel like alchemy. We throw in stuff and other things come out! We can't make gold yet but if we keep throwing in more stuff its going to happen, we promise! No we can't explain how, but if you believer we are all going to be rich and live forever.
