I think it’s why I didn’t understand the hype when I watched for the first time a few yrs ago. I tried to put myself in the context of when it was made & still came up short. All of the “classic” films I tried to watch ended up being some bullshit so idk
I rewatched Eyes Wide Shut. Still a brilliant looking movie but found the theme hadn’t aged well. The scandalous orgy feels so harmless and the secret society rituals are just ridiculous. A film that only makes sense in a society that’s deeply afraid of sex

I feel like they didn’t even give the show a chance. From the lack of marketing to the disjointed way they released it smh. @natasharothwell.bsky.social touched on a lot of issues not seen on tv & the characters were all interesting. I’m upset not to know what happened after the finale & that plane

This post made me realize that it’s been a year since I got my partial hysterectomy due to fibroids & anemia.
I was severely anemic & eating ice for decades. Now I only eat ice for pleasure instead of feeling like my life depends on it.

Not a fan of the actual book in fact I quit reading after the 2nd chapter because I couldn’t relate to nonna that shit, BUT! I still do the morning pages, the artist dates & some of the challenges. I’m thinking it’s the same as journaling which I’ve always avoided. Now I want stickers to decorate 😂

All right, this is official. I'm a Millennial but I was raised Charismatic and I've only seen exactly one episode of Saved by the Bell, decades ago, so I know nothing about it. People have been talking about it all day. I'm getting the teenager and watching the pilot episode right now!

It’s been a week since I e lost my grandma & I’m realizing I don’t know how to grieve as an adult. I feel selfish & guilty for all the crying & rotting I’ve been doing but I’m not sure how to snap out of it. New years is usually my fave holiday & I’m wondering if I can still celebrate

It’s been a week since I e lost my grandma & I’m realizing I don’t know how to grieve as an adult. I feel selfish & guilty for all the crying & rotting I’ve been doing but I’m not sure how to snap out of it. New years is usually my fave holiday & I’m wondering if I can still celebrate

I gained so much more confidence in my writing. I realized that I have enough musings for a quick lil book of essays if I want & I found a good writing community through classes with Lit Cleveland. I learned how to add layers of context to my work to help “fill in” & I plan to lock tf in in 2025.
