Today was the @literarycleveland.bsky.social writing retreat at the CSU Mansion. I got so much work done! I wrote a short essay/recipe piece titled “Teaching Your Grandchildren How to Freak a Black & Mild & I even shared it. I love being a part of the writing community & can’t wait to finish Spittin

Ok I’m here in what might be my new alternative writing space! It’s called ThirdSpace Bookstore & my writing hg told me about it. It’s Black owned & it’s in my old stomping grounds, Glenville. Right across from my ex bf’s house where I spent a lot of my teen yrs lol WHEW!

Not a fan of the actual book in fact I quit reading after the 2nd chapter because I couldn’t relate to nonna that shit, BUT! I still do the morning pages, the artist dates & some of the challenges. I’m thinking it’s the same as journaling which I’ve always avoided. Now I want stickers to decorate 😂

I’m working on a new project this yr that combines AR, storytelling, video, fashion & hip hop so I’ve been at the library grabbing DVDs for inspiration. Not pictured:

I took myself on a solo date to eat lunch, see Wicked & bought myself somthin cute the other day.

Wicked was cool, I love origin stories. But I’ll keep my real thoughts to myself about the actual story cause it’s exhausting actually.
