The majority of the film’s cast - basically all major roles besides Humphrey Bogart and Dooley Wilson - are Europeans, including people who were essentially refugees from countries at that time under Nazi control. The emotion in the La Marseillaise scene is quite genuine.
You ever stop and think about CASABLANCA? You ever stop and think about "Welcome back to the fight, this time, I know our side will win?" You ever think about a bar full of people defiantly singing La Marseillaise, played by a soundstage full of Jewish refugees? You ever think about CASABLANCA??????

The Officer's Oath doesn't have a clause to obey the President because officer's must refuse an unlawful order, and unlawful orders are a possibility. That doesn't mean, remove a duly elected President during a legal term.

Uh, no. It is not the military’s duty to clean up public’s mess. I was an officer. The last thing we want is the military to take control. The only time that should happen is if the loser of an election refuses to leave and civilian law enforcement can’t handle it. Then we can drive a tank thru WH.

If the military was overwhelmingly made up of left leaning voters, there would be a lot less worrying. So, enlist. Serve. Be the person that defends the Constitution and not one person.
