So the Buddhist Monks walk was not all peace.
People cursed them.
Shouted at them.
They said that many people stepped on the gas peddle so that the black smoke covered all the monks.

How did they react?

The monks wished them well, wished them peace and happiness.

2/ Detailed accounts such as the one in the thread below illustrate how Telegram – a commercial app run from Dubai – has been a central tool in the Russian kill chain, allowing for rapid responses to Ukrainian actions. Discord was also heavily used.

A Europe-based project to unmasking US ICE agents is racking up views, and mobilizing volunteers in the process.

The site, known as the “ICE List,” traces back to June, after Kristi Noem warned that Americans who publicly identify ICE agents could face arrest.

He's right. Russia's illegal war in Ukraine is the single most important thing happening in the world.
The US has restarted the Civil War; Iran is as bad as it's been for a long time, but the key to everything is Ukraine.

Day 1453 of this damn war and despite all the talk and rhetoric and peace talks to come this week, no-one in Ukraine is anywhere near convinced the end is near.

A very late start to Sunday's🧵after the very late finish to yesterday's thread, and still questions are unresolved.

Side-note, the precursor, logistics, outside USA:

Hardly any slave from Africa was originally/initially chased or hunted down by westerners.
They were harvested & enslaved by rival tribes, then sold to westerners.

Relevance today: white 'muricans *are* enslaving their fellow white -muricans.
slavery is one of the rare things historically where the more you learn about it the more you realize your initial assessment was correct and it was in fact one of the most evil things ever to occur

Given DOGE’s f#ckery at SSA, I am not thrilled that the “SAVE America Act” aims to compel states to purge voters via SSA’s Number Verification system & DHS’s SAVE program, which accesses the SSA system. I wish some election security experts would look at this & talk me down.
For nearly a year, the administration has said that DOGE had no unauthorized access to your Social Security data. A new government filing admits that was false.

And most of those losses don’t even happen in the trenches, they happen at form-up points, on start lines, and in the rear, long before anyone sees an enemy position.

That’s the reality on the ground.
