Ok I know this is going to be terrible but I have such a soft spot for the 1989s Masters of the Universe film that I will be in the front seat on opening night for this.

watching what's happening on the ground in the twin cities has affirmed my expectations of how things would shake out once the feds tried shoving a whole community under the rubber hitting the road.

i choose to trust people who trust each other, that's one medium through which solidarity spreads
every couple hours another Twin Cities institution announces they’re closing for the general strike tomorrow and every couple hours I become more convinced we’re gonna win

Today's really good thing.

It's the 4 year anniversary of my brother going to the epilepsy unit in Beaumont. His seizures had progressed to nearly every week and in some weeks every other day.

Within a day they'd figured it out and he hasn't had a seizure since.

It's just really good!

Thinking about how people make art. They just do it and share it and the world is just better for having art in it.

This thought brought to you because I was thinking of the scene in In The Mood For Love where they pass each other on the stairs.

Just breathtaking.

And this is why it would be quick and painless to kill X at the state level…
One reason that X remains a ‘core’ news and information app is that vital utilities and public bodies treat it as a central communication tool with the public.

Gardai, buses, trains, weather alerts, airports, councils etc.

If something urgent happens, they treat X as a primary platform.

I am fully aware that I am disassociating at The Cottage right now but the Heated Rivalry soundtrack is pretty damn good. Peter Peter did an amazing job with the score. If at all possible I'm gonna be getting that vinyl when it's released.

Do you know what's good?

Solidarity!

Here's a verified link (from a friend in Minneapolis) if you're looking to support the people of the city from far away. Minneapolis is the city I've spent the most time in in the US so it's more personal for me.

So depressing that no solutions have been found for the Complex.

It's going to be such a loss to the arts community of Dublin.

I still miss Café Irie in Temple Bar - it went downhill towards the end but at its peak it was phenomenal.

This is going to be on Crave - the same Canadian streamer that gave us Heated Rivalry.

Fingers crossed it gets the same level of hype.
