I finally got the opportunity to watch an episode on VHS last night thanks to @kiddlit.bsky.social! Made me feel super little, but it also made me feel super safe. I was able to watch Barney in a space where it was accepted and encouraged for me to express that interest. Super powerful feeling ❤️
Fun Fisher fact: I've never watched a full episode of Barney before. I tried as a kid! I was 5 years old and knew I kinda wasn't supposed to, but then my mom caught me and told me to turn it off because it was "for 2 year olds".
