This evenings run - Week 11/14 Day 3/3 another week of my #C210K programme completed ✅ 🤩 The weather was cool & breezy but dry except for the 5 min cooldown walk. I enjoyed that, it’s feeling more natural & comfortable. My pace is slowly / steadily improving 💪🏼 #RebelliousHope #BlueskyRunning

Puffins have returned to the Isle of Muck in Co Antrim for the first time in decades after Ulster Wildlife's rat eradication and habitat management programme. Trail cameras captured birds using a burrow this spring, suggesting possible breeding. An enjoyable morning volunteering, albeit quiet due to the deluge of rain. Followed by a lovely 1/3 mile swim 🏊 it’s nice to be back in the pool and already feeling easier to cover the distance. Rest day tomorrow 🛏️

We’ve a lovely woodland trail #Parkrun I opted for my high miles reliable old trail shoes for the addition of mud & heavy leaf mulch. I’m so glad I went. Surprised when the results arrived - a new course PB 🥳🤩💪🏼

It’s been a beautiful cold 🥶, still, dry day up here on the North Norfolk coast. The light on and over the marshes was just gorgeous in the run up to sunset this afternoon.

It’s been a beautiful cold 🥶, still, dry day up here on the North Norfolk coast. The light on and over the marshes was just gorgeous in the run up to sunset this afternoon.

Exhilarating, never has a run felt so good, I feel alive 🤩🌡️ 5 degrees, a NNW 23mph wind gusting 28 mph sitting on the back of the incoming tide. There was rain, a long hailstorm & showers from the North Sea 🌊 I absolutely smashed that, it felt comfortable & I felt strong 💪🏼

With home Parkrun canx,I got up,picked my mate up & we went to North Walsham #Parkrun The memorial park is lovely.It’s a nice enough course almost dead flat.5 months ago I didn’t dream sub 36 min was possible & now I’m irritated by this time!I’m off to give my head a wobble.Thanks to the #Volunteers
