Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Political assassinations don't move political movements forward other than those of the victim's ideology. The United States' obsession with guns paired with the current president's gleeful violence will only increase these types of events. Remember, a Dem lawmaker was assassinated a few months ago.

It is staggering that 1.2 TRILLION dollars went to 400 people in ONE year. These men believe they are gods, and their power comes from wealth.
The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion, after getting $1.2 trillion richer over the past year alone.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country is getting squeezed by tariffs and high prices for groceries, utilities, and health care.

Nothing like our failed businessman of a president failing to realize that calling everything "Liberation Day" actually renders that phrase meaningless from a marketing perspective. If everything is Liberation Day and liberation means the US army invading your city, "liberation" means nothing.

Update: I offered this simple amendment in the Appropriations Committee to say no President can withhold funds from a college to try to control their speech.

This one says the Department of Education can’t cancel funding for a college just because professors or students hold views Trump doesn’t like.
