Concussion protocol at protests is important these days. Victims try to tough it out, but their decision-making is impaired.

Please understand that the lucid interval of epidural hematoma can range anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day after initial unconsciousness. Learn to spot obtundation.
We need to be better at trying to get people with head injuries from being shot to leave the protest for medical treatment. It is already hard to make sound decisions after a few rounds of tear gas add a concussion, and it's worse. I did not follow that advice in 2020. I regret it.

Head injury = automatic ER visit. First 48 hours, watch for:

• Vomiting
• Seizure
• Slurred speech
• Weakness, numbness, or tingling esp. on one side
• Increasing confusion
• Increasing restlessness or agitation
• Extreme drowsiness
• Slow to respond to questions or stimuli

🧵 THREAD: A federal whistleblower just dropped one of the most disturbing cybersecurity disclosures I’ve ever read.

He's saying DOGE came in, data went out, and Russians started attempting logins with new valid DOGE passwords

Media's coverage wasn't detailed enough so I dug into his testimony:

A test of Bluesky's critical mass is how useful it is for breaking news like this. As soon as I heard from a friend about the quake, I came here to get news and was not disappointed.
Magnitude has just been revised down to M7.0 -- still an enormous quake.
