trying to find a quick image for a fabula beastie and couldnt figure out why all these fucking robots showed up, until i realized they were all marked as a warhammer unit called the same thing.

I'm going to gently remind people that, when the world is on fire and you feel helpless and weird, the best thing for your brain is getting out of the house and involving yourself in something. I started volunteering in 2016 (because election), and the time commitment is low, but I feel useful.

HEY! I just participated in the ROSE study: its aim is to be able to diagnose Endometriosis (possibly other diseases later on) by examining menstrual blood. Right now the only way to get diagnosed is through surgery.

okay gang i have FINALLY found a process to request information from Cigna about their handling of my PHI as required by US federal law. it was not from customer service, because they clearly tell customer service NOTHING and give them no resources. which is not smart of them.

i am on the phone with a third customer service representative from cigna and just had to explain to him what a PHI request is. this would be so funny if it weren't for the fact this is my insurance company and i'm increasingly convinced they're intentionally violating HIPAA

why have i had multiple customer service reps from cigna without basic hipaa training? today's at least tried to forward me somewhere to request phi disclosure (wrong department, call dc'd before i got transferred) but straight up told me they "are not trained to handle PHI."
