Disability groups are standing united for trans rights. That hasn't always been the case.
Forty years ago, disability advocates abandoned the LGBTQ+ community in exchange for legal protections. Decades later, they are fighting a Trump administration rule to roll-back more safeguards for tr...

Genuinely unclear where they all will go — it’s packed outside on the sidewalk already.

absolutely incredible title slide.
I had the absolute pleasure to visit @craicexeter.bsky.social, where I laid out an argument for how critical & computational scholars should lead the conversation on AI. We need to expand research on harms, interrogate corporate hype, and support people’s critical understanding these technologies

The EEOC just voted to rescind the enforcement guidance (2-1, only Kotagal voted against).

Transphobia harms everyone. The EEOC's actions are just another example of this fact. When you start policing some people's bodies and prevent their right to safe workplaces, you put everyone at risk of that same surveillance, harassment, and discrimination.

Same!!! As a non-lawyer, these folks make me feel like I could pass the bar tomorrow.
Anytime I feel insecure about my administrative law expertise, I’m just going to listen to these folks. No better cure for imposter syndrome than the lawyers Trump hires

Oh man the Trump White House said that it would be contrary to the public interest to allow the public to weigh in on rescinding a document that nearly 40k people commented on the creation of? Welp, that’s that then. Gotta believe the Trump White House here.

I'm listening to today's EEOC vote on rescinding the enforcement guidance. Commissioner Kotagal put it best, "The commission is throwing out the baby with the bathwater".

Even as critics of water fluoridation point to other sources of fluoride as an alternative — usually in the name of individual choice — many are creating barriers to these same products.
