It’s always been a big criticism of his has he uses bench far too late. And now teams use it in such clever ways and he still does shit like this. When Argentina bring 5 on at once and then begin to gain momentum, you’ve simply got to match it.

I have to say, getting a warning for offside about 20 mins in after 2 offsides. And then a yellow for a third, (which looked harsh to be called offside anyway) in the 55th minute is some bullshit Andrew Brace refereeing.

If I was a head coach, I’d ban players from social media when in camp. And instead provide them with fake articles claiming everyone is writing them off and that the opposition think it will be easy.
