I didn't completely hate the silent hill 2 movie, but it does appear to operate on this weird imbalance where you have to know the game for it to be coherent, but knowing the game primes you to completely hate the baffling changes it does make

Hindsight is a powerful thing. I now realise that culture suffered a massive blow by not making a The Sims-style game in Bethesda's Gamebryo engine. Imagine all of those great Oblivion NPC dialogue loops as you hover over and affects theirs lives as some sort of minor suburbs-focussed god

Silent hill f's story is great but the gameplay is awful. Get that telegraphing and parry shit out of here. The moment you make me learn how monsters move they are no longer make me anxious. Silent Hill 2 might be an easy game but i still have no idea how the monsters work and that's what I want
